The Story of Rosie the Reindeer

Once upon a time, there was a reindeer named Rosie. She had a very big wish: she wanted to help fly Santa’s sleigh. Rosie heard stories about fun places she could see. She thought about flying over white, snowy roofs. She knew she could make kids happy by helping Santa.

One night, Santa gave Rosie a big smile. “Rosie,” he said, “do you want to fly with us tonight? You can see the world!” Rosie felt so excited! This was her dream trip! As they zoomed high in the night sky, Rosie looked at Christmas lights below.

But oh no! A gift box slid off Santa’s sleigh! Quick as a flash, she used her magic to jump out. She caught the gift and landed softly in front of a Freson Bros. store.

The store felt warm and nice. It had bright Christmas lights and smelled like yummy holiday cookies. It was just like home. Rosie looked at the gift box. All the treats had fallen out!

Now Rosie needs to find all the treats for the gift box. She has to search all over the store. Rosie looks high and low to find all the lost treats. She looks behind decorations and next to big stacks of cinnamon rolls.

If you spot Rosie during your visit to Freson Bros., let Customer Service know! They’ll help Rosie find all the treats for her Sweet Treats Gift Box – and when it’s complete, one lucky kid at each Freson Bros. store will get to take Rosie home along with a Sweet Treats Gift Box full of holiday goodies.

Every time you visit your local Freson Bros. store from November 28 to December 18, pick up an entry form from the customer service desk, and write down where you spotted Rosie!

On your way out of the store, give the filled out form to Customer Service. On December 19th we’ll contact someone from each store and you’ll be able to take home Rosie, plus a Sweet Treats Gift Box filled with goodies.

Find Rosie in your local Freson Bros. store and take a photo. Follow @fresonbros on Instagram, then post the photo with the tags #fresonbros, #RosietheReindeer and #yourstorelocation (for example #Hanna, #StonyPlain etc), by December 18. Two winners will be chosen by random on December 19 and notified by DM. Make sure your Instagram account is set to public so we can reach out if you have won!
