The Giveaway & Prizes

Starting on Friday, September 6th, 2024 and ending on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, Freson Market Ltd will offer fully enrolled Smart Shopper customers from any Freson Bros. store the opportunity to win one of the prizes:

1) One gift card in the same amount as the winner’s Alberta Beef Round-up Custom Cut Hip Pack purchase cost, valued at approximately $360.

2) One of the 17 (seventeen) $50 Freson Bros. gift cards, one winner will be selected at each Freson Bros. store.

The winner must be a fully enrolled Smart Shopper member at the time of the draw and have purchased an Alberta Beef Round-Up Custom Cut Hip Pack (approximately 60lb to 70lb) from any Freson Bros. store between September 6th, 2024 and October 3rd, 2024. 

Eighteen winners, one for a gift card in the same amount as the winner’s Alberta Beef Round-up Custom Cut Hip Pack purchase cost and seventeen for the $50 Freson Bros. Gift card, will be chosen through a random draw from all eligible entries and will be announced on Monday, October 7th, 2024.  Contact will be attempted 3 times via the number connected to the Smart Shopper accounts for two days, but should contact not be made by Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, another winner shall be chosen. All expenses relating to collecting or using the prize are the winner’s responsibility.

How to Enter

To enter the giveaway, you must be a fully enrolled Freson Bros. Smart Shopper member and purchased an Alberta Beef Hip Custom Cut Pack (approximately 60-70lb) from any Freson Bros. store, within the time period.

Eligibility

1) The giveaway is only open to residents of Alberta who have reached the age of majority (18 and over).

2) The giveaway is not open to individuals who are, or have been, at any time over the duration of the giveaway or the four months preceding, an employee or representative of, or an immediate family member of, or a person domiciled with an employee of Freson Market Ltd.

3) As well, the giveaway is not open to the judges, those who are domiciled with them, or members of their immediate family.

Prize Draws and Related Requirements:

1) The giveaway commences on Friday, September 6th, 2024 and ends on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024.

2) The entrant whose entry is the winner will be notified within 6 hours of the draw.

3) The winning entry will be selected from all eligible entries by Freson Market Ltd.

4) For the purpose of contacting the winner, a contact phone number and email address will be required by all entrants for their entry to be considered complete and valid.

5) Contact will be attempted 3 times via the number connected to the Smart Shopper accounts on or after Monday,  October 7th, 2024. Should contact not be made by 9.00 am MSD/MDT on Wednesday, October, 9th, 2024, their prize will be forfeited and another entrant will be drawn.

6) The winner may be required to answer correctly, unaided, a time-limited, skill-testing question.

7) All entrants will be required to be fully enrolled Smart Shopper members.

8) No purchase is necessary. In order to enter the prize draw without purchase, simply email [email protected] with your name, address, phone number and Alberta Beef Round-Up Prizes Giveaway in the subject line with your Smart Shopper Number.

9) All other expenses relating to the prize(s) are the winners’ responsibilities.

10) The prize must be collected from the winners’ local Freson Bros. store at a convenient time agreed upon between the Freson Bros. contact and the winner, within a period of one week.

Other Rules and Requirements:

1) By participating in this giveaway, entrants agree to be bound by the official rules and regulations of the giveaway and to provide publicity when required.

2) Entry is limited to fully enrolled Smart Shopper members.

3) Entrants may be required to provide reasonable proof that they meet the requirements of the giveaway.

4) All decisions by the judges relating to this giveaway are final.

5) All entries become the property of Freson Market Ltd and none will be returned.

6) All elements of the prize are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, not for resale and nonrefundable. The prize winner is not entitled to receive any payment for any possible difference between the actual value of the prize and its estimated value. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives, substitution or transfers of the prizes will be allowed.

The Contest & Prizes

Starting on Friday, September 6, 2024, and ending on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Freson Market Ltd will offer Social Media users the opportunity to win two (2) $25 event tickets per winner. One winner will be drawn for each participating Freson Bros. Fresh Market Store.

Participants can enter the giveaway when they have taken a photo of themselves in front of the 

Alberta Beef Round-Up Feast standee at Freson Bros. Stony Plain, Fort Saskatchewan, Edmonton Rabbit Hill, Drumheller, Hinton Hill, or Peace River stores, and posted it to their social media page on Instagram using #FresonFeast hashtag, and a tag of the town location – between Friday, September 6, 2024, and Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

One winner for each Freson Bros. Fresh Market Store will be chosen via a random draw on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Contact will be attempted 3 times via private messaging on Instagram, but should contact not be made within 6 hours after the draw, other winners shall be chosen. Each winner will receive two (2) tickets for the Alberta Beef Round-Up Feast on September 21 or 22, 2024 at their chosen Freson Bros. Fresh Market store. The winner’s responsibility is all expenses relating to collecting or using the prize.
