The Giveaway & Prizes

On Saturday, April 27th, 2024, starting at 6:00am and ending at 11:00pm, Freson Market Ltd will offer customers visiting any of Freson Bros. the opportunity to win a Made in Alberta Prize Package valued at $500.

In order to be considered for the prize, the customer must become a fully enrolled Smart Shopper member on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, or already be a fully enrolled Smart Shopper member and have made a purchase at any Freson Bros. store on Saturday, April 27th, 2024. One winner will be chosen from each store through a random draw from all eligible entries and will be announced on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024.  Contact will be attempted 3 times via the number provided for two days, but should contact not be made by Thursday, May, 2nd, 2024, another winner shall be chosen. All expenses relating to collecting or using the prize are the winner’s responsibility.

How to Enter

To enter the giveaway, must become a fully enrolled Smart Shopper member on Saturday April 27, 2024, or already be a fully enrolled Smart Shopper member and have made a purchase at any Freson Bros. store on Saturday, April 27th, 2024.

Eligibility

1) The giveaway is only open to residents of Alberta who have reached the age of majority (18 and over).

2) The giveaway is not open to individuals who are, or have been, at any time over the duration of the giveaway or the four months preceding, an employee or representative of, or an immediate family member of or person domiciled with an employee of Freson Market Ltd.

3) As well, the giveaway is not open to the judges, those who are domiciled with them or members of their immediate family.

Prize Draws and Related Requirements:

1) The giveaway commences and ends on Saturday, April 27th, 2024.

2) The entrants whose entries are the winners will be notified within 48 hours of the draw.

3) The winning entries will be selected from all eligible entries by Freson Market Ltd.

4) For the purpose of contacting the winners, a correct contact phone number and email address will be required by all entrants’ Smart Shopper account, for their entry to be considered complete and valid.

5) Contact will be attempted 3 times via the number connected to the Smart Shopper accounts by Tuesday, April 30th, 2024.  Should contact not be made by 9.00am MSD/MDT on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, their prize will be forfeited and another entrant will be drawn.

6) The winners may be required to answer correctly, unaided, a time-limited, skill-testing question.

7) All entrants will be required to be fully enrolled Smart Shopper members.

8) No purchase is necessary. In order to enter the giveaway without purchase, simply email [email protected] and put National Alberta Beef Prime Rib Day in the subject line, as well as their Smart Shopper Account Number.

9) All other expenses relating to the prize(s) are the winners’ responsibilities.

10) The prize must be collected from the winners’ local Freson Bros. store at a convenient time agreed upon between the Freson Bros. contact and the winner, within a period of one week.

1) By participating in this giveaway, entrants agree to be bound by the official rules and regulations of the giveaway and to provide publicity when required.

2) Entry is limited to fully enrolled Smart Shopper members.

3) Entrants may be required to provide reasonable proof that they meet the requirements of the giveaway.

4) All decisions by the judges relating to this giveaway are final.

5) All entries become the property of Freson Market Ltd and none will be returned.

6) All elements of the prize are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, not for resale and nonrefundable. The prize winner is not entitled to receive any payment for any possible difference between the actual value of the prize and its estimated value. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives, substitution or transfers of the prizes will be allowed.

 

The Contest & Prizes

Starting on Friday, April 19, 2024, and ending on Thursday, May 9, 2024, Freson Market Ltd will offer Social Media users the opportunity to win one (1) Freson Bros. Gift Card valued at $100 per winner. One winner will be drawn for each participating Freson Bros. Store. Freson Bros. will host the Chris Scheetz Farewell Tour events at three locations:

– Freson Bros. Stony Plain on Friday, April 19, 2024;

– Freson Bros. Rabbit Hill on Friday, April 26, 2024;

– Freson Bros. Glenora on Friday, May 3, 2024. 

To participate in the giveaway, customers must:

 – Attend the Freson Friday Chris Scheetz Farewell Tour event at the designated Freson Bros. store on the specified date.

– Post a photo with Chris from the event taken at the store on their Instagram page (Facebook or Instagram).

– Tag Freson Bros. in the post and use the hashtag #FresonFriday.

– Follow Freson Bros.’s Instagram page for at least 24 hours.

– The photo must be posted during the following periods: for the Stony Plain event: Friday, April 19, 2024, to Thursday, April 25, 2024; for the Rabbit Hill event: Friday, April 26, 2024, to Thursday, May 2, 2024; for the Glenora event: Friday, May 3, 2024, to Thursday, May 9, 2024.

One winner for each Freson Bros. store will be chosen via a random draw:

– For the Stony Plain event: on Friday, April 26, 2024;

– For the Rabbit Hill event: on Friday, May 3, 2024;

– For the Glenora event: on Friday, May 9, 2024. 

Contact will be attempted 3 times via private messaging on Instagram, but should contact not be made within 6 hours after the draw, other winners shall be chosen. Each winner will receive 1 (one) Freson Bros. Gift Card valued at $100. The gift card must be picked up at the store from which the photo was posted. The winner’s responsibility is all expenses relating to collecting or using the prize.

Starting on Friday, April 12th, 2024, and ending on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, Freson Market Ltd will offer its customers the opportunity to win 1 (one) Freson Bros. Gift Card valued at $500 or 1 (one) out of 5 (five) gift cards valued at $100. Six winners will be drawn among all eligible entries.

To qualify for the giveaway, participants must be fully enrolled Smart Shopper members and correctly answer the 10 questions listed at freson.com/scavengerhunt between Friday, April 12th, 2024, and Thursday, May 2nd, 2024.

Winners will be selected through a random draw on Friday, May 3rd, 2024. Attempts will be made to contact the winners via the Smart Shopper phone number provided with the entry three times. If contact is not established by Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, alternate winners will be selected. One winner will receive one (1) Freson Bros. Gift Card valued at $500 and five (5) winners will receive one (1) Freson Bros. Gift Card valued at $100. Winners are responsible for all expenses related to collecting or utilizing the prize.
