The Contest & Prizes

Starting on Monday, September 1, 2025, and ending on Monday, September 8, 2025, Freson Market Ltd will offer its customers two opportunities to win a set of two (2) tickets for the Filipino Feast event happening on September 13 and 14, 2025 at Freson Bros. Fresh Market locations in Edmonton Glenora, Edmonton Rabbit Hill, Hinton Hill, Fort Saskatchewan, Drumheller, Peace River, Stony Plain. One winner will be drawn for each participating Freson Bros. Fresh Market location.
Option 1: Instagram Social Media Entry
To enter, participants must have followed the Freson Bros. Instagram page for a minimum of 24 hours and comment on the location they would like to attend for the Ukrainian Feast in a comment under the official giveaway post on Instagram. The post will be live from September 1, 2025, to September 8, 2025.
Option 2: In-Store Entry
To enter, participants must fill out the form, which is available via the QR code on the A-frame poster in-store or at freson.com/filipinofeast. The form must be fully completed for the entry to be valid. Participants must also be fully enrolled Smart Shopper members and submit their entry by September 8, 2025.
Participating Locations
The following Freson Bros. Fresh Market stores are participating in the giveaway:

• Edmonton Glenora
• Edmonton Rabbit Hill
• Hinton Hill
• Fort Saskatchewan
• Drumheller
• Peace River
• Stony Plain

One winner will be drawn per location.
Winner Notification
The winners will be drawn on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. 

• The winner who entered via Instagram will be contacted through a private message on Instagram.
• The winner who entered via the in-store form will be contacted through the contact number provided in the form.

Winners must respond by 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 11, 2025. If a winner does not respond by 3:00 pm on September 11, 2025, another winner will be drawn. Each winner will receive two (2) tickets for the Filipino Feast on September 13 or 14, 2025, at their chosen Freson Bros. Fresh Market store. The winner’s responsibility is all expenses relating to collecting or using the prize.

How to Enter

To enter via Instagram (Option 1):

• The participants must have followed the Freson Bros. Instagram page for a minimum of 24 and commented on the Freson Bros. Fresh Market location where they would like to attend the  Ukrainian Feast under the official giveaway post on Instagram.

To enter via In-Store (Option 2):

• The participants must fill in the form available via scanning the QR code on the A-frame poster in-store at participating Freson Bros. Fresh Market locations.
• The participants must be fully enrolled Smart Shopper members to enter.

Eligibility

1. The contest is only open to residents of Alberta who have reached the age of majority (18 and over).
2. The contest is not open to individuals who are, or have been, at any time over the duration of the contest or the four months preceding, an employee or representative of, or an immediate family member of, or a person domiciled with an employee of Freson Market Ltd.
3. The contest is also not open to the judges, those who are domiciled with them, or members of their immediate family.

Prize Draws and Related Requirements:

1. The contest commences on Monday, September 1, 2025, and ends on Monday, September 8, 2025.
2. The contestants whose entries are the winners will be notified within 6 hours of the draw.
3. The winning entries will be selected from all eligible entries by Freson Market Ltd.
4. For the purpose of contacting the winners, a non-private Instagram account or a valid contact number is required by all entrants for their entry to be considered complete and valid.
4. Contact will be attempted 3 times via the relevant social media platform or a phone number provided with the entry. Should contact not be made within 6 hours, their prize will be forfeited and another entrant will be drawn.
5. The winners may be required to answer correctly, unaided, a time-limited, skill-testing question.
6. All other expenses relating to the prize(s) are the winner’s responsibility.
7. The prize must be collected prior to the event.

Other Rules and Requirements:

1. By participating in this contest, contestants agree to be bound by the official rules and regulations of the contest and to provide publicity when required.
2. By participating in this contest, winners agree to allow Freson Market Ltd to announce their names and share their photos on social media platforms and other promotional materials.
3. Contestants may be required to provide reasonable proof that they meet the contest’s requirements.
4. All decisions by the judges relating to this giveaway are final.
5. All entries become the property of Freson Market Ltd and none will be returned.
6. All elements of the prize are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, not for re-sale, and nonrefundable. The prize winner is not entitled to receive any payment for any possible difference between the actual value of the prize and its estimated values. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives, substitution, or transfers of the prizes will be allowed.

The Giveaway & Prizes

Starting on Friday, August 29, 2025 and ending on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, Freson Market Ltd will offer fully enrolled Smart Shopper customers from any Freson Bros. store the opportunity to win one of the prizes:
1. One gift card in the same amount as the winner’s Alberta Beef Round-up Custom Cut Hip Pack purchase cost, valued at $389.4
2. One of the 16 (sixteen) $50 Freson Bros. gift cards, one winner will be selected at each Freson Bros. store.
The winner must be a fully enrolled Smart Shopper member at the time of the draw and have purchased an Alberta Beef Round-Up Custom Cut Hip Pack 60lb from any Freson Bros. store between August 29, 2025 and October 2nd, 2025. 
Seventeen winners, one for a  $389.4 gift card and sixteen for the $50 Freson Bros. Gift card, will be chosen through a random draw from all eligible entries and will be announced on Monday, October 6th, 2025.  Contact will be attempted 3 times via the number connected to the Smart Shopper accounts for two days, but should contact not be made by Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, another winner shall be chosen. All expenses relating to collecting or using the prize are the winner’s responsibility.

How to Enter

To enter the giveaway, you must be a fully enrolled Freson Bros. Smart Shopper member and purchased an Alberta Beef Hip Custom Cut Pack 60lb from any Freson Bros. store, within the time period.

7. All entrants will be required to be fully enrolled Smart Shopper members.
8. No purchase is necessary. In order to enter the prize draw without purchase, simply email [email protected] with your name, address, phone number and Alberta Beef Round-Up Prizes Giveaway in the subject line with your Smart Shopper Number.
9. All other expenses relating to the prize(s) are the winners’ responsibilities.
10. The prize must be collected from the winners’ local Freson Bros. store at a convenient time agreed upon between the Freson Bros. contact and the winner, within a period of one week.

The Contest & Prizes

Starting on Friday, August 29, 2025, and ending on Thursday, September 25, 2025, Anderson Drug by Freson Bros. will offer Facebook users the opportunity to win one (1) Bakery Treats Basket per participating store: Hanna, Drumheller, and Stony Plain.
Each Bakery Treats Basket is valued at $25 and includes:

• One (1) Half Pie
• One (1) 4-pack of Cinnamon Buns
• One (1) Sourdough Loaf

To qualify for the giveaway, participants must follow the Anderson Drug by Freson Bros. Facebook page and comment on the designated Giveaway post. Comments may include their favourite Anderson Drug service, their favourite Freson Bros. bakery treat, or simply “Hi.” Each comment counts as one (1) entry, with a maximum of one entry per person.
Winners will be selected through a random draw on Friday, September 26, 2025. One winner will be chosen for each participating location. Attempts will be made to contact winners via Facebook Messenger up to three (3) times. If contact is not established within 24 hours of the draw, alternate winners will be selected. Winners are responsible for collecting their prize from their selected Anderson Drug by Freson Bros. location.
