The Giveaway & Prizes

Starting on Friday, October 17, 2025, and ending on Thursday, October 23, 2025, Freson Market Ltd will offer fully enrolled Smart Shopper customers shopping at all Freson Bros. stores the opportunity to win one $500 Freson Bros. Gift Card, or one of 16 $70 Freson Bros. Gift Cards. 

 

The winner must be a fully enrolled Smart Shopper member and make a purchase from any Freson Bros. store between Friday, October 17, 2025, and Thursday, October 23, 2025. One winner at each store will be chosen through a random draw from all eligible entries, with one additional winner selected from all stores, and will be announced Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Contact will be attempted 3 times via the number provided for two days, but should contact not be made by Thursday, October 30, 2025, another winner shall be chosen. All expenses relating to collecting or using the prize are the winner’s responsibility.

 

How to Enter

To enter the giveaway, you must be a fully enrolled Freson Bros. Smart Shopper member and make a purchase from any Freson Bros. store, between Friday, October 17, 2025, and Thursday, October 23, 2025.

 

Eligibility

1. The giveaway is only open to residents of Alberta who have reached the age of majority (18 or older). 

2. The giveaway is not open to individuals who are or have been, at any time over the duration of the giveaway or the four months preceding, an employee or representative of, or an immediate family member of or a person domiciled with an employee of Freson Market Ltd. 

3. As well, the giveaway is not open to the judges, those who are domiciled with them or members of their immediate family.

 

Prize Draws and Related Requirements:

1. The giveaway commences on Friday, October 17, 2025, and ends on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

2. The entrant whose entry is the winner will be notified within 24 hours of the draw.

3. The winning entry will be selected from all eligible entries by Freson Market Ltd.

4. For the purpose of contacting the winner, a valid contact phone number and email address attached to their Smart Shopper Loyalty account will be required by all entrants for their entry to be considered complete and valid.

5. Contact will be attempted 3 times via the number provided for two days, but should contact not be made by Thursday, October 30, 2025, their prize will be forfeited and another entrant will be drawn.

6. The winners may be required to answer correctly, unaided, a time-limited, skill-testing question.

7. All entrants will be required to be fully enrolled Smart Shopper members.

8. No purchase is necessary. In order to enter the prize draw without purchase, simply email marketing@freson.com with your name, address, phone number and 70th Anniversary Giveaway in the subject line with your Smart Shopper Number.   

9. All other expenses relating to the prize(s) are the winners’ responsibilities.

3. Entrants may be required to provide reasonable proof that they meet the requirements of the giveaway. 

4. All decisions by the judges relating to this giveaway are final.

5. All entries become the property of Freson Market Ltd and none will be returned.

6. All elements of the prize are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, not for resale and nonrefundable. The prize winner is not entitled to receive any payment for any possible difference between the actual value of the prize and its estimated value. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternatives, substitution or transfers of the prizes will be allowed.

 

The Giveaway & Prizes

Starting on Friday, September 26, 2025, and ending on Thursday, October 23, 2025, Freson Market Ltd will offer participants the opportunity to win a $50 Freson Bros. Gift Card.

One winner will be selected per participating Freson Bros. store through a random draw from all eligible entries. Winners will be contacted via their social media account used to enter, so participants must have an open profile for the message to be delivered. If contact cannot be made within 48 hours, another winner will be drawn. All expenses related to collecting or using the prize are the winner’s responsibility.

How to Enter

To enter the giveaway, participants must:

• Take a photo at the Fall Photo Spot at any participating Freson Bros. store between Friday, September 26, 2025, and Thursday, October 23, 2025.
• Share the photo as a post or story on Instagram or Facebook before Thursday, October 23, 2025.
• Include the hashtag #FresonBros plus the town the photo was taken in (e.g., #FresonBrosDrumheller).
