A Cozy Fall Tradition of Food, Flavour & Togetherness
This fall, Freson Bros. is bringing Oktoberfest to your kitchen! Celebrate this seasonal tradition with fun, food discovery, and specialty products not available all year round.
Why is Oktoberfest in September?
Fun Fact: The very first Oktoberfest was a massive royal wedding celebration held in Munich in October 1810. As the festival grew into a beloved annual harvest tradition, organizers shifted the start date to September to enjoy longer, warmer, and sunnier autumn days!
What Makes Oktoberfest Special?
At its heart, Oktoberfest is all about Gemütlichkeit (gah-MOOT-likh-kite) a unique German word describing warmth, friendliness, good food, and cozy togetherness. It’s the ultimate seasonal shift into autumn comfort foods, rich gravies, tangy ferments, and shared meals with family and friends.
