Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs

Slow Cooker Pork Ribs

  • 1 Slow Cooker

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Western Family BBQ Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Western Family Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Western Family Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Western Family Cayenne Powder
  • 2 kg Alberta Pork Back Ribs (4lbs)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray.
  • Remove membrane from the ribs and place ribs in the slow cooker. Discard the membrane.
  • Mix together BBQ Sauce, Garlic Powder, Worcestershire sauce, and Cayenne Powder in a small bowl. 
  • Pour half of the sauce over Alberta Pork Back Ribs, coating everything. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 7-9 hours or high at 3-4 hours.
  • When ribs are tender and falling apart, transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 
  • Pour half of the juices from the slow cooker into the remaining sauce and baste the ribs.
  • Broil in a preheated oven at 400°F for approximately 10 minutes or until the edges begin to char & enjoy!
